  2. Hi Roxy, it's Ava again that is so sucky about the airport bookstore thing!!! It looks like you are having fun!!!
I love it how you keep mentioning people here in Mendocino, like John Sasso and Mr. Siem and Mr. Leister. You are taking super cool pictures and it looks so fun there. Is it really hot? In the one picture in front of the pyramids i saw you were wearing your rip curl jacket. ok bye

  3. Roxy! You're doing a great job on the blog and I love the photos. It really feels like we're on the trip with you and I'm definitely enjoying the ride. Man, that scam with the papyrus guy sounded exactly like something we experienced in India last month. But I have to say, in general, we met many friendly strangers and got a lot of good advice and information from them. Mostly I think it's those guys that approach you before you approach them that you should be wary of. I got used to saying a very friendly "no thank you" to a lot of people, often before they'd even said anything! Keep up the good work - I'm looking forward to more...

  4. Hi Roxy and Anne, What fun to learn of your travels to Egypt!!
Thank you Mark. We have added your blog in our daily homeschool schedule. Jaren began asking to go to Egypt when he was three yr old. We went to the King Tut exhibit in LA and it has stirred his interest ever since. I was fortunate enough to go to the first King Tut exhibit 20 yrs ago. We have enjoyed looking at your fotos and reading your personal experiences. We will share your blog with some other local homeschool friends who went to Egypt a few years ago. If you have a presentation or slide show when you return be sure to let us know. We are curious if you are seeing other kids in your travels? How old are they? What countries are they from?
Have fun!! Debrin and Jaren Wise
